TOO STINGY

Stinginess is a bad trait, in multiple ways. For me, stinginess always leads to the fact that I am too late. Not too late to catch the train or something like that, but too late to buy something. I am always waiting for things to get cheaper: the less money I spend, the better. To a certain degree this is not a bad thing at all, except for those occasions when I am waiting too long and the pieces get out of stock for good. Whenever this happens, I'm desperately searching about the internet, hoping to find either a site where they magically still sell they item, or a sites likes eBay where I can buy the piece second-hand.
When this search comes to nothing, I gather all my gifted guts and TRY to do it myself (of course I am not able to fabricate my own leather jacket (unfortunately), but bleaching a jeans or 'creating' a necklace on the other hand, is achievable for sure).

So today a really simple DIY, which I was forced to do because I was too stingy to buy the Nelly necklace when it was still in stock...

Necessities:

- a chain (mine is a leftover from the chain to hang up a lamp)
- a safety pin. Of course you can use a normal jewelry clasp too, but I like to fasten it with a safety pin (or was I just too stingy to buy a clasp?)

There is hardly any explanation needed, but for the really clueless-ones: attach the safety pin to the chain, put the chain around your neck and close the pin. Piece of cake, right?
